# getViemClient

> Creates a Para-backed Viem WalletClient.

Use this full React SDK action when a component already has an explicit Para client rather than a signer hook.

## Import

```ts theme={null}
import { getViemClient } from "@getpara/react-sdk/evm/actions";
```

The action creates its account with getViemAccount before building the wallet client.

Creates a Para-backed Viem WalletClient.

Copy method signature

### Returns

`Promise<WalletClient | null>`

A Para-backed Viem wallet client, or null when no eligible embedded EVM wallet is available.
