# Viem signTransaction

> Signs a Viem transaction through REST signing.

This is a Para-owned method on the Viem account returned by createParaRestViemAccount.

## Import

```ts theme={null}
import { createParaRestViemAccount } from "@getpara/rest-sdk/viem";
```

The adapter uses the matching ParaRestClient signing endpoint and rejects unsupported local transaction shapes with ParaRestValidationError.
