# ParaEthersV5Signer.getAddress

> Returns the EVM address of the selected Para wallet.

Returns the EVM address of the selected Para wallet.

The selected wallet address.

## Import

import type { Para as ParaServer } from '@getpara/server-sdk';
import { ParaEthersV5Signer } from '@getpara/ethers-v5-integration';
```

## Usage

```ts theme={null}
declare const para: ParaServer; // An authenticated Para Server client with a loaded EVM wallet.
const signer = new ParaEthersV5Signer(para);
const address = await signer.getAddress();
```

## Limitations

The result depends on the current wallet selection. Resolve the address again after changing the signer’s wallet ID.
