# createGelatoSmartAccount

> Creates a Gelato-backed Para smart account

Supports EIP-7702 only.

Use the package root import:

```ts theme={null}
import { createGelatoSmartAccount } from '@getpara/aa-gelato';
```

>
> Gelato rejects external wallet signers.

The returned account exposes the shared [sendTransaction](/v3/references/smart-accounts/shared/send-transaction) and [sendBatchTransaction](/v3/references/smart-accounts/shared/send-batch-transaction) methods.

Creates a Gelato-backed Para smart account.

The configured EIP-7702 account or null when no usable embedded EVM wallet is available.
