# getKey

> Returns a Keplr-compatible key for the enabled Cosmos chain.

Call `connector.getKey` on an initialized [ParaGrazConnector](/v3/references/wallet-connectors/graz/para-graz-connector) instance. Import the class from the package root:

```ts theme={null}
import { ParaGrazConnector } from '@getpara/graz-connector';
```

Rejects when the chain is not enabled, the user is not authenticated, or no Cosmos account is available.

Returns a Keplr-compatible key for the enabled Cosmos chain.

### Returns

`Promise<Key>`

The account key with bech32 address and public key.
