# signArbitrary

> Signs arbitrary string or binary data with the Para wallet.

Call `connector.signArbitrary` on an initialized [ParaGrazConnector](/v3/references/wallet-connectors/graz/para-graz-connector) instance. Import the class from the package root:

```ts theme={null}
import { ParaGrazConnector } from '@getpara/graz-connector';
```

The connector encodes the data as a Cosmos MsgSignData and signs it through signAmino().

### Returns

`Promise<StdSignature>`

The arbitrary-data signature.
