# request

> Handles an EIP-1193 RPC request through Para and the configured chain client.

Use the package root import:

```ts theme={null}
import { ParaEIP1193Provider } from '@getpara/wagmi-v2-connector';
```

The provider handles accounts, chain ID, account requests, transactions, message and typed-data signing, subscriptions, chain add/switch, permissions, and watched assets. eth\_subscribe requires a WebSocket transport; unsupported permission requests return an empty array and wallet\_watchAsset returns false. Other methods are forwarded to the configured viem client.
